Toronto Speakeasy Bar

Figures Toronto

137 Avenue Rd, Toronto

Figures is disguised as an old comic bookstore, but you’ll immediately notice the lack of comic books for sale. That’s because it’s hiding a secret door that leads through to the speakeasy bar behind.

It’s not just a bar, Figures also serves up some epic food, think tapas style platters, although it is quite pricey.

Inside, the pop culture theme continues with comic books on the wall, illustrations and themed drinks, with options such as ‘Empire Did Nothing Wrong’ and ‘Donkey Kong’ served in an authentic DK glass.

Price: Cocktails cost around $20
