Toronto Speakeasy Bar

The Cloak Bar

488 Wellington St W, Toronto

Pitching itself as a ‘speakeasy-esque bar’, The Cloak Bar is hidden in an assuming location underneath Marben restaurant on Wellington street, although it’s not too difficult to find thanks to the big neon sign.

At first, you might be wondering what you’ve let yourself in for, but once inside you’ll find a cosy atmosphere with creative cocktails and friendly service.

The bar is dimly lit, with crystal ware and exposed brick, much what you’d expect from a speakeasy bar. Although it’s not the usual quiet atmosphere and can get very lively.

Try the Kapu Kulu if you have a thing for sweeter cocktails or the Stirling By The Sea if you enjoy a cocktail that packs a punch.
