Berry and Rye is a typical 1920’s prohibition era speakeasy bar, the front of the bar is unassuming with no signage or any indication of what lies within.
You’ll have to knock the door and hope someone lets you in which might be more likely if you know the passwords. If not, you can try waiting outside with no guarantee of every actually getting in or come back later, it’s all part of the theatre.
The bar has no windows and a low key candle-lit ambiance which adds to the speakeasy vibes. The menu itself is a bible of drinks. Literally, it’s a big leather bound book with every drink under the sun. The bartenders know their stuff with the freshest ingredients and a masterful technique that will leave you thinking cocktail making is a playground activity.
